About

Letsgetscreened is an awareness campaign by the Colon Cancer Foundation to highlight the importance of screening in colorectal cancer (CRC) prevention. On-time screening using any of the available screening options—visual or stool-based—can detect the cancer at an early stage or prevent it by detecting a polyp BEFORE it becomes cancer. During CRC Awareness Month in March, and beyond, the Colon Cancer Foundation will continue to draw attention to:
  • 45: the age when average-risk adults should start their preventive CRC screening
  • The value of at-home stool-based tests for preliminary screening for CRC
